You have to pay a fee for a consular service, according to the table of consular fees.
The consular service must be paid at the moment of applying for a certain consular service. Person entitled to a waiver or reduction of the fee must provide a relevant document verifying such a right at the same moment. Fees are non-refundable. The fee can be paid in cash, by money order, cashier's check or certified check, payable to the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York (personal checks, debit and credit cards are not accepted).

Passport delivery fee 12 Please, be aware, that the Consulate is not responsible for the passport after handing it over to the delivery company. We are not responsible for the quality of services of the delivery company.
Persons entitled to a waiver or reduction of the consular service fee must provide a relevant document verifying such a right to the Consul for inspection at the moment of filing of the application.
Passport issuance is free of charge for:- persons who, as of the date of passport application, were 70 years of age;
- persons residing in nursing homes or care centers or social assistance beneficiaries who receive permanent allowance, if their stay abroad is associated with long-term treatment or the need to undergo surgery;
- persons who have applied for a replacement passport due to technical error.
Passport fee is reduced by 50% for:- retirees, pensioners and disabled persons, under the Act of August 27, 1997 on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Journal of Laws of 2011 No. 127, Item. 721, as amended 6), and the spouses of these persons who are their sole dependents;
- persons residing in nursing homes or care centers or social assistance beneficiaries who receive permanent allowance;
- veterans and other persons who are covered under the provisions of the Act of January 24, 1991 on Combatants and Certain Persons Who Are Victims of the Repression of War and Post-war Period (Journal of Laws of 2012 Item 400);
- minors prior to starting compulsory education imposed by law, pupils and students up to 26 years of age.
Passport fee is reduced for the holders of a Karta Dużej Rodziny - by 75% for children and 50% for parents.
Passport fee is partially reduced in the event of:- the need to change or rectify the information to be entered into the passport, referred to in Article 18 Section 1 Items 1-3, 5 and 9 of the Act of July 13, 2006 on Passport Documents (Journal of Laws of 2013 Item 268);
- a change in physical appearance of the passport holder, which might hinder identification;
- the lack of passport space for placement of a visa or stamp confirming the crossing of the border.
